Mustang is the debut studio album by 15 year old (now 18) musician and songwriter Ollins Lande. The album was released on 16th of September 2016 in all digital formats and is also available to order in hard copy by sending a message via our CONTACT page.

Ollins’ describes his sound as modern acoustic-based country rock. He started writing songs at an early age with one song securing him a music scholarship at a local private school.  At age 14 he recorded his first single, ‘Backyard Love Affair’ at Absolute Studios in Bournemouth. It was successfully released digitally in October 2015 and received some fantastic feedback and reviews. His musical influences are too numerous to list and cover a wide range of diverse genres.

The track When Mustangs Roam Free is a personal tribute to Ollins’ favourite teacher and mentor who sadly passed away last year whilst visiting family in Australia. Ollins’ way of coming to terms with this significant loss was to write this song.

When the school heard the song, they supported Ollins’ and kindly let him use the school recording studio for a couple of hours every week with a professional sound engineer to further develop his songwriting.  During this time most of Mustang was produced with the remaining tracks being finished at another location during the summer of 2016

As well as unrequited love (‘Backyard Love affair’) and personal loss (‘When Mustangs Roam Free’) other themes on the album include bullying, relationship breakups, partying and hopes for the future.
